I simply love cushions and pillows. They simply give beds and sofas the special cosiness that I love. Also, it is a good room accessory if you want to add some colour to your room.
Instead of buying cushions, you can easily make them yourself using an old cushion and a fabric of your choice. That also gives you the opportunity to play with different sizes, patterns and colours.
Here is my version of making a cushion cover - with only two seams. This way it is very easy, even for beginners.
